Your hand never leaves the desk

handwriting is a biometric; the press is built accordingly

Handwriting identifies you the way a signature does — several jurisdictions treat it as biometric data outright. The commercial handwriting-font services all work by uploading yours to their servers. This press takes the opposite architecture: the drawing pad, the outline mathematics and the font assembly all run inside this tab, and the .otf lands in your downloads folder without a network request anywhere in the chain. The site is static files; an upload slot doesn't exist to be misused.

What persists, and where: your work-in-progress strokes live in this browser's localStorage on your own disk — that's what lets you draw the alphabet across several evenings. Start-over erases them. The finished font file exists only where you save it.

Worth knowing: clearing browser data deletes an unfinished alphabet permanently, since no copy exists anywhere else by design. Press the font when you finish; the .otf is the durable artifact.

The ledger: no analytics, no ad code, no cookies from this site. One script typeface loads from Google Fonts for the site's own headings and caches. Hosting counts visitors as a bare number. What your handwriting looks like is information this site's operator has structurally never possessed.
